Bluewater Health, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Erie Shores HealthCare, Hôtel-DieuGrace Healthcare, Windsor Regional Hospital and our shared service provider TransForm Shared Service Organization can confirm that we are victims of a ransomware attack.

While we do not yet know precisely what information may have been compromised or exactly how many people are impacted, we do know that employee and professional staff personal information likely was part of the information that was taken. We are investigating to determine the extent of the information that was impacted. Please note that this investigation may take our cybersecurity experts some time to complete. We will promptly notify employees and professional staff directly if the investigation indicates that their personal information was impacted.

In the meantime, we have made the decision to provide free credit monitoring and identify theft protection to all employees and professional staff out of an abundance of caution. We strongly encourage each of you to take advantage of this offering. You do not have to pay for it, and it can be instrumental in identifying any potentially fraudulent activity.
